Class Milestone Events:

  • 10th Reunion: 1993 - "Our 10-year Reunion was held at the Tally Ho in Kanona, and a picnic at Renee & David Gauss' home the next day. It was well attended."

  • 15th Reunion: 1998 - "Our 15-year Reunion was held in Montreal, Canada... same place as our Senior Trip (see photo above). There were only a few of us, but well worth the trip... lots of sight-seeing too."

  • 20th Reunion: 2003 - "Our 20-year Reunion was held in Savona, at the Davis homestead, in June. The following attended: Marlene Marro, John Stewart with daughter Anika, Cheryl & Karl Pilgrim with daughter Morgan, John & Carrie Lyke with daughter Megan, Bernie Harrian, Mary & Glenn Francis with son Michael, Robin Taylor with Roy Elliott and son Cameron, Kathy & Sean Corcoran with daughter Hanna, Pam & Mark Failing with children (Kevin, Nicole, and Cici), Dan & Beth Davis with daughters (Jenna & Krista), Sue & Dean Beamont with children (Stephanie and Dean), Renee Gauss, and Cathy Rook. It was a nice turn-out on a fabulously sunny day. A good time was had by all in attendance."

  • 25th Reunion: 2008 - Nothing to report.

  • 50th Reunion: 2033...

    Alfred H. Taft Scholarship Information:

    Al's Plaque

    (The plaque above was dedicated in Al's memory, and is located
    at the Campbell-Savona Elementary facility in Savona, NY.)

    The Alfred H. Taft Scholarship is awarded to the Campbell-Savona High School graduating senior who displays interest in pursuing a career in the military, computer science, and/or aviation fields.


       Born and raised in the Savona area, Al Taft graduated with distinction from the Savona Central School in 1983.

       Collegiately, Al studied computer science at The Citadel, a military college in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon graduating in 1987, Alfred Taft was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He served his Country proudly as an Air Force Navigator.

       On October 4th, 1989, near Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, Canada, Al died tragically during an Air Force training exercise that also took the lives of his three crew members.

       Through our class sponsored scholarship, we honor his memory and values -- presenting Al's fine example to tomorrow's leaders!
