1. Well, we've accomplished yet a few more of our goals:

in March, completely revamped your alumni site -- http://scsalumni.topcities.com http://scsalumni.orgfree.com/ (check it out)

added a Poll, Chat Room option, "This day in History," a "NEWSFLASH" section, and other new features to SCS Alumni Website

made navigation within the site better and added a search option to find things quicker

posted information on the upcoming Class of 1947 reunion

received/posted a photo for the Class of 1965

continue to collect SCS Alumni e-mail addresses (have 40 now)

collected addresses for nearly 45 people

submitted requests to link our site with the major WWW search engines (i.e., Yahoo, Lycos, AOL, and many others)

established a "toll-free" voice-mail (i.e., 877-636-0400 ext. 579) account for you to reach Bulldog!

Since January 2002, we are happy to report that there's been interest in our SCS Alumni Website - as seen with the visitor counter, Guest Book/Message Board entries, and survey responses. We would like to thank everyone that contributed, or just stopped to take a look.

2. On the horizon, here's what we are still working on:

looking for class representatives - who may serve to get information circulated, help locate classmates, and assist with other website issues

looking for feedback on our present site

trying to identify a person that would like to be our Alumni Newsletter (which we may call "The Bulldog Bulletin") coordinator

setting up an online calendar showing reunions and more

establishing a virtual office for our class reps. and others with interest

So, that's update Number 2, and we hope it's one that you enjoyed. When you have a minute, please take a look at the new site design, send us your feedback and recommendations, so that we can build a site that you will use and share. To get the "word out," please pass this message to other SCS Alumni when you can.
